I am a qualified, professional indexer and a Fellow of the Society of Indexers with over fifteen years experience of producing over 200 book indexes for well-known publishing houses. I consider indexing to be a creative process resulting in a key which unlocks the text by making the content easily accessible and I am committed to compiling high quality user-friendly indexes even when working to tight schedules.
I achieved Accreditation as an indexer in 1999, and Fellowship in 2006.
I am a tutor for the SI "Training in indexing" course and held the role of
Training Course Co-ordinator for the Society from 2013 to 2021.
